The Town of Winamac received a grant through the Indiana Office of Energy Development to replace the lighting and heating equipment in the Town Office, The Winamac Volunteer Fire Department, and the Winamac Municipal Utility Complex buildings with more energy efficient units to help reduce our utility expenses.

James Conner, Town Manager Jim works out of the town office and manages the day to day affairs of the town. He has been the Town Manager since August 1998. Jim is married and has 3 children. He can be contacted at anytime at 574-946-3451. Mrs. Judy Heater, Clerk Treasurer Judy Heater is the Clerk-Treasurer for Winamac and manages the financial interests of the town. She has been the Clerk-Treasurer since 1996 and works out of the Town Office. She is married, has 4 children and 11 grandchildren Mrs. DeAnna Pletka, Assistant Treasurer DeAnna Pletka is the first deputy clerk and is primarily responsible for the billling of utility customers. She has been with the Town of Winamac since 1982. She is married with two sons. Mrs. Jennifer Zimmer, Office Helper Jennifer Zimmer is the second deputy clerk and is primarily responsible for accounts receivable/payable and payroll. Jennifer started with Winamac in 2001.
